driverless cars should not be allowed on the same road as manual drivers, because what would happen if the driverless car js broke down out of nowhere, there wouldn't be a person to call to tow company or fix or flag down another driver.
I think driverless vehicles are very thoughtfully engineered and their driving does not often cause accidents. I believe having them on the same road as other cars should be fine, as long as there is a person supervising and having some sort of control over the vehicle at all times.
No, driverless vehicles should not be allowed on the same road as manual drivers. While autonomous vehicles may be designed to follow traffic laws, they still face significant challenges in real-world scenarios, such as reacting to unpredictable human behavior, navigating complex road conditions, and making split-second decisions in emergencies. Manual drivers, who rely on instinct and experience, may struggle to predict or adapt to the often erratic movements of driverless cars. Mixing the two could lead to confusion, accidents, and heightened risks, especially in areas with heavy traffic or poor infrastructure. Until the technology is flawless and universally trusted, it's safer to keep driverless vehicles separate from human-driven ones.
I feel like they should only be allowed if there is a way for passengers to control the vehicle. This would ensure that measures are taken to avoid collision and accidents in the case of malfunction.
I think driverless cars should be allowed, but only if they’re proven to be super safe. It’d be kind of risky having them mix with regular cars if there’s still a chance they could mess up.
